Square Enix has revealed the Japanese voice cast for the upcoming Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, specifically for the four previously revealed main characters.
You can view these listed roles below, translated by our team’s Ryuji:
- Psaro (Japanese voice: Daisuke Ono)
- Rose (Japanese voice: Reina Ueda)
- Toilen Trubble (Japanese voice: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka)
- Fizzy (Japanese voice: Hina Suguta)
Additionally, the game’s official box art has been revealed, at least for Japan. It is designed by Akira Torimyaya, though it is unknown if this box art will apply to the West.
The demihuman protagonist Psaro was cursed by the ruler of the monster realm of Nadiria, also known as his father, making the youth incapable of harming any being with monster blood coursing through their veins.
To defy his fate, Psaro becomes a monster wrangler, amassing a sizeable monster following during his quest for vengeance. Additionally, he’ll make new allies, including the elf Rose and the enigmatic Toilen Trubble.
Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince will launch for Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2023. Physical pre-orders are available, with digital pre-orders set to be available at a later date.
